60-70s

 Along the HIGH STREET the posts are CU PHOSCO ( Concrete Utilities ) HIGHWAY X 8M concrete posts with side entry Fluorescent lanterns.

 Most of the GROUP B ( side roads ) lights in RICKMANWORTH are 5M GEC concrete posts with post top GEC Z5640 lanterns ( MBF bulbs , less gear , timeswitches ) .

 SUMMER 1977

A long UXBRIDGE ROAD,WATFORD ROAD ( A412 ) RICKMANWORTH all the lights were 8M concrete posts with GEC ( GEC Z9454 ) lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ) and some other types of lanterns. In the summer of 1977 all these were replaced with 10M metal posts with GEC Z9554M lanterns ( less gear , 135W SOX bulbs and Nema socket photocells ) . When there is a ZEBRA crossing along the road , the 2 lights on the either side of the crossing were GEC Z8526 lanterns ( less gear , SON bulbs and Nema socket photocells ) .

 1987

Most of the side road lights were replaced MBF bulbs with 35W SOX bulbs .

Late 80s

The Fluorescent lanterns that were along the HIGH STREET were changed with new lanterns with new metal brackets on the CU PHOSCO ( Concrete Utilities ) HIGHWAY X 8M concrete posts .The lanterns are side entry ELECO ( DAVIS ) GR304 lanterns ( SON bulbs , less gear , semi-cut off bowls , timeswitches ) .

1992

Most of the side roads and some main road lights were changed from timeswitch control to photocell control.

All the lanterns changed from timeswitch control to photocell control has now got a Nema socket photocell on it .

Late 90s

Part of the HIGH STREET lights got changed to 6M heritage metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells , DIAMOND OPTIC reflectors ) .

This is along the HIGH STREET and this photo was taken in DEC 2006.

The street lights are 6M D.W.WINDSOR heritage metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells , DIAMOND OPTIC reflectors ) . In the 70s there were 8M wall mounted Fluorescent lanterns (5ft tubes ) .In the 90s? all the Fluorescent lanterns were changed to ELECO (DAVIS) GR304 lanterns ( less gear,SON-E bulbs ) .

The street light is a REVO concrete post with a HOLPHANE SEATTLE flood light ( MH bulb , integral gear , photocell ) .

The old lantern on this post was a post top GEC Z5640 lantern ( 35W SOX bulb , less gear , Nema socket photocell ) .

 The street lights are 10M metal posts with side entry GEC Z9554 lanterns ( 135W SOX bulb , less gear , deep bowl , RTE P42 2 part photocell ) .

 This is along BURY LANE and this photo was taken in April 2006.

 The street lights are 5M GEC concrete posts with post top GEC Z5640 lanterns (35W SOX bulb , less gear , Nema socket photocell ) .

Around 1987 , this lantern got converted from a MBF bulb to a 35W SOX bulb .

Around 1992 , this street light got converted from timeswitch control to photocell control has now got a Nema socket photocell on it .
