This is along the HAVELOCK ROAD ( A3024 ) and this was taken in Year 2000.

This road is next to RADIO SOLENT station.

In the year of 2000 ,the street lights were 8M metal posts with GEC Z8430CM lanterns ( SON-T bulb, less gear , RTE P42 photocell ) . Sometime between year 2000 to 2006 ,the lighting has got changed with new ones .

The new street lights are ,10M metal posts with URBIS ZX3 lanterns  ( integral gear , flat glass bowl , black top , SON-T bulb, Nema socket SELC 841 white colour photocell ) and the posts painted black .

 This is along NEW ROAD and this was taken in Year July 2000.

8M metal posts with URBIS OPTICONE lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , miniature photocells , integral gear )  .

 This is along UPPER BRIDGE STREET and this was taken in Year July 2006.

 4M cast iron post with a DW WINDSOR IFFLEY lantern ( 42W CFL , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector ) .This has got a 42W CFL (42W PLT Bulb) in it .

The old lantern that was before the DW WINDSOR IFFLEY lantern was a GEC Z5591 lantern ( MBF bulb, less gear , RTE P42 photocell ) and the post was painted grey .

Sometime between year 2000 to 2006 ,the lanterns  has got changed with new ones .

10M posts with a top entry GEMA lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , miniature photocells , integral gear )  .

This is along TOWNQUAY ( A3057 ) and this was taken in Year 2000.

10M CONCRETE  UTILITIES BYWAY X concrete post with a REVO HYPERION B lantern ( 135W SOX bulb , less gear , RTE P42 photocell ) .The rest of the lanterns were GEC Z9554 lanterns ( 135W SOX bulb , less gear , RTE P42 photocell ) along this road.

At the road junction ,the street lights are 10M D.W.WINDSOR heritage ( EDINBURGH type ) metal posts with top entry   D.W.WINDSOR  STRAND lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector ) .

Sometime between year 2000 to 2006 ,all the concrete posts and lanterns got changed with new ones .

The new street lights are ,10M metal posts with URBIS ZX3 lanterns  ( integral gear , flat glass bowl , black top , SON-T bulb, Nema socket SELC 841 white colour photocell ) and the posts painted black .  This post in the photo got changed with a double arm post and you can see this in the next photo below .

You can see the double arm post which replaced a concrete post which was in the last photo .

There used to be a lot of these posts with these lanterns in southampton and there is not many left now. Most of the new street lights are now 10M metal posts with URBIS ZX3 lanterns  ( integral gear , flat glass bowl , black top , SON-T bulb, Nema socket SELC 841 white colour photocell ) and the posts painted black .
