WHITCHURCH , BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

This page is about some STREETLIGHTING in WHITCHURCH in BUCKINGHAMSHIRE.

 2003

Most of the lights in this village are on telegraph posts and there are a lot of them and they are mounted at 5M high . There are about five 8M metal posts with URBIS ZX2 lanterns at the junction of the HIGH STREET ( A413 ) with the MARKET HILL .

Most of the lanterns are side entry GEC Z8691 lanterns ( integral gear , mercury bulbs ? and Nema socket photocells .

With all the cut outs ( fuses ) these are just mounted on the telegraph posts with no waterproof boxes .

Year 2010?

I been told a lot of these street lights were changed to DW WINDSOR 5M heritage posts with top entry DW WINDSOR lanterns .
