This is along the HIGH STREET ( A40 ) and this photo was taken in Aug 2006 .

The old streetlights are 6M metal posts with post top MIKE SMITH DESIGNS VICTORIA 2 lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells ) and these were installed in the 90s .

The old streetlights before these , were REVO WOOLWICH 5M Cast Iron Posts with post top CU PHOSCO P 107 lanterns ( Mercury bulbs , less gear  , small canopy , white bowl ) .

The new street lights are DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 5M metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( PHILIPS CosmoPolis 60W Cosmo White bulb, integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector , cast base for lantern) and these are painted black  .

The old street lights are REVO B9509 lanterns ( direct voltage Mercury bulbs , less gear , Nema socket photocells) and these were painted black . Around 1980 all the timeswitches were removed and they were replaced with RTE P5 Nema socket photocells .

The new street lights are DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 5M metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( PHILIPS CosmoPolis 60W Cosmo White bulb, integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector , cast base for lantern) and these are painted black  .

The lanterns before the post top THORN GAMMA 6 lanterns were post top REVO B9509 lanterns ( direct voltage Mercury bulbs , less gear , Nema socket photocells) and these were painted black . Around 1980 all the timeswitches were removed and they were replaced with RTE P5 Nema socket photocells .

The new street lights made by DW WINDSOR and these were installed in July 2006 .

In the 40MPH zone ,the posts are DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 6M metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns (100W SON-T bulb , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector ,cast base for lantern ) ,this is painted black .

In the 30MPH zone ,the posts are DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 5M metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( PHILIPS CosmoPolis 60W Cosmo White bulb, integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector , cast base for lantern) and these are painted black  .

This is wall mounted at 5M . REVO bracket with a side entry REVO B9509 lantern ( direct voltage Mercury bulb , less gear , Nema socket photocell) . Around 1980 this timeswitch got removed and they it was replaced with RTE P5 Nema socket photocell . In the 90s the old control box has been replaced with a new one .

Around 1980 this timeswitch got removed and they it was replaced with RTE P5 Nema socket photocell . In the 90s the old control box has been replaced with a new one .

Years ago this bracket used to have a gas lantern on it .

This has now got a new lantern on it now . It is a top entry D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lantern ( PHILIPS CosmoPolis 60W Cosmo White bulb, integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector )  .
