LITTLE CHALFONT

 

 

This is along COKES LANE ( B4442 ) and this is near the roundabout junction of WHITE LION ROAD (A404) and CHALFONT STATION ROAD (A404) and this photo was taken in JAN 2009.

Streetlights are 10M metal posts which were installed in the 70s ? . The lanterns are PHILIPS MA50 lanterns ( 135W SOX bulb , less gear , SELC 841 Nema socket photocells ) . These PHILIPS MA50 lanterns is the current design which is made from 1981.

The old lanterns were THORN ALPHA 5 lanterns ( 140W SLI/H bulb , less gear , shallow bowl , RTE 2 part P42 photocells ) and these were replaced in 1987-1990 ?
