In 2001-2 all the street lights were changed to DW WINDSOR 5M CHESTER Heritage posts with  DW WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells , DIAMOND OPTIC reflectors ) . Most of the old lanterns were wall mounted GEC ZD1172A lanterns ( SON-E bulbs ) .

This street light is a 6M Concrete Utilities ( CU PHOSCO ) Byway X concrete post .

The lantern is a Top entry SIMPLEX GEMINI lantern ( 55W SOX bulb , integral gear , RTE P5 Nema socket photocell) ) .

My guess these lanterns were installed in the early 80s ,because of the type of the RTE P5 Nema socket photocells . The old lanterns were GEC Z5591 lanterns .

There were a lot of these posts and lanterns in Burnham and some of these have now been replaced with new ones .
