The old street lights were 5M mounted telegraph brackets with top entry THORN BETA 4 lanterns ( MBF bulbs,less gear, time switches ) .

In the 80s these THORN BETA 4 lanterns have got changed to side entry THORN BETA 5 lanterns ( 50W SON bulbs ,integral gear, Nema socket photocells ).
