This Christmas tree is at the junction of the HIGH STREET (A40) and CHORLEY ROAD and this photo was taken in JAN 2008.The Christmas lights are blue LED bulbs type.

The heritage streetlight which is along CHORLEY ROAD in the photo is a DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 5M metal post with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lantern (70W SON-T bulb , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector , frog ) ,this is painted black and this was installed in July 2006 .

The streetlights along the HIGH STREET (A40) are heritage DW WINDSOR CARDIFF 5M metal posts with post top D.W.WINDSOR WINDSOR lanterns (PHILIPS CosmoPolis 60W Cosmo White bulb, integral gear , miniature 1 part photocell , DIAMOND OPTIC reflector , cast base for lantern) and these are painted black .There are some wall mounted lanterns and some CARDIFF 6M metal posts and on these 6M posts with 100W SON-T bulbs in the lanterns . .These were installed in July 2006 .

The old street lights were REVO  WOOLWICH 5M Cast Iron Posts with post top REVO B9509 lanterns ( Mercury bulbs , less gear , Nema socket photocells) ,wall mounted type with side entry REVO B9509 lanterns ( direct voltage Mercury bulbs , less gear , Nema socket photocells) and these were painted black . Around 1980 all the timeswitches were removed and they were replaced with RTE P5 Nema socket photocells .
