These Christmas lights are along the HIGH STREET and this photo was taken in DEC 1987 . These lights are made by IRVINE MARTIN . The bulbs are GLS bulbs .  These are Illuminated Garland and in the middle of them are NL1 Olde English Lanterns which is 800mm high .The street lights are THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns (semi-cut off type bowls , less gear, SONT bulbs , Nema socket photocells ) and these are on THORN OWGB42 brackets which have got the control gear for the lanterns in them and these are mounted at 8M on the walls. The old street lights were 5M Concrete Utilities (FLUTED TYPE ) posts with post top PHOSCO  P109 GEORGIAN lanterns ( MBF bulbs , refractors , less gear , timeswitches ) and these were replaced in the early 70s ? .

The street lights are 8M metal posts with THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns (semi-cut off type bowls , less gear, SONT bulbs , 2 part photocells ) . The old street lights were 5M Concrete Utilities (FLUTED TYPE ) posts with post top PHOSCO  P109 GEORGIAN lanterns ( MBF bulbs , less gear , timeswitches ) and these were replaced in the early 70s ? .

These are VOUTE ASTRALIGHT (995110 ) Christmas lights which are made by LEBLANC ILLUMINATIONS and unknown stars .These lights went up along the HIGH STREET once in 2001 and the next year they were moved to DESBOROUGH ROAD in HIGH WYCOMBE in 2002. These lights are made by MK ILLUMINATION and the code number for these are LS355 . These lights were put up for christmas 2002,2003,2004 and 2005 . In the trees are brand new LED Christmas lights and this is the first time these were installed in DEC 2004 . These Christmas lights are controlled by timeswitches and these are in metal boxes which are next to lamp posts . The street lights are THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns (semi-cut off type bowls , less gear, SONT bulbs , Nema socket photocells, 2 part photocells ) .

These Christmas lights are along DEAN STREET and this photo was taken in DEC 2004 . These Christmas lights are controlled by a timeswitch and this is a in metal box which is next to this 8M lamp post . The lantern on this post is a URBIS ZX2 lantern (integral gear, SONT bulb , Nema socket photocell) . and the lantern that used to be on this post was a THORN ALPHA 3 lantern (semi-cut off type bowl , less gear, SONT bulb ,2 part photocell ) . Most of the rest of the lighting along this road are THORN ALPHA 9 lanterns ( less gear, 90W SOX bulb ,2 part photocell )  and these 8M meal posts made by  Fabrikat .

All the 8M posts in the town centre has got new rope lights on them in Dec 2005.
