These Christmas lights are along HIGH STREET and this photo was taken in DEC 1989. These lights are made by IRVINE MARTIN . The bulbs are coloured external lacquered GLS bulbs . On the lamp posts are W6 Christmas Windows with NF5 Santa which is1120mm tall  ,The suspended ones are W31 Spinning' Starburst which is 2085mm wide with W0 Double Drapes which are 3050mm long .The street lights are THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns (semi-cut off type bowls , less gear, SONT bulbs , 2 part photocells ) and these are on 10M metal posts.

These Christmas lights are along HIGH STREET and this photo was taken in DEC 2002. These Christmas lights are controlled by timeswitches and these are in the lamp post bases . This is the last year when these lights were put up and in 2003 all these were replaced with new ones . The new street lights are URBIS SATURN lanterns  ( SONT bulbs , integral gear , miniature 1 part photocells ) and these are on 10M metal posts and these were installed in 1998.

These Christmas lights are controlled by timeswitches and these are in the lamp post bases.These lights are brand new ones(Dec 2003)and these replaced all the old ones.These are made by LEBLANC ILLUMINATIONS . In NOV 2005 all these street lights posts have now got Christmas lights on them and these are the same as christmas 2003,2004 ones . Christmas 2005 on the lamp posts in the town centre are new rope lights which is wrap round them .These lights were put up for christmas 2003,2004 ,2005 and 2006.

I don't know who made the other lights.   The street lights lanterns are PHILIPS MA50 lanterns  ( 135WSOX bulbs , less gear ,Nema socket photocells ) .Before these PHILIPS MA50  lanterns, the lanterns were GEC Z8526 lanterns (less gear,MBF bulbs ,timeswitches) and these were changed in the middle 80s .

These Christmas lights are controlled by timeswitches and these are in the lamp post bases.These are VOUTE ASTRALIGHT (995110 ) which are made by LEBLANC ILLUMINATIONS .These Christmas lights came from MARLOW and these lights went up once ( 2001 ) in MARLOW and these were moved to here in Dec 2002 . In NOV 2005 all these street lights posts have now got Christmas lights on them  . These lights were put up for christmas 2002,2003,2004 ,2005 and 2006.  The new street lights are made by D.W.WINDSOR  and these were installed in DEC 2002.The lanterns are D.W.WINDSOR  OPTIMA POLAR  lanterns ( 150W SONT bulbs) . These posts have been painted black in 2005.The old street lights lanterns are PHILIPS MA50 lanterns  ( 135WSOX bulbs , less gear ,Nema socket photocells ) . The old lanterns before the PHILIPS MA50 lanterns were GEC Z8526 lanterns ( MBF bulbs , semi-cut off bowls , less gear , timeswitches ) and these were replaced in the middle 80s .
