  This is along UPPER CASTLE HILL and this was taken in Year Sept 2004 .

This is a unknown 5m concrete post with a  post top D.W.WINDSOR  WINDSOR lantern ( SON-E bulb ?, integral gear ?, glass refractor) . This is next to  STIRLING CASTLE . Next to this post you can see the NATIONAL WALLACE MONUMENT which is on the other hill.


 

 

 

 

 

  This is along ALBERT PLACE (A811) and this was taken in Year Sept 2004 .

Unknown 8m concrete posts with a side entry GEC Z9454  lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ).


 

 

 

 

 

  This is near the RAILWAY STATION along the main road  (A9 ) . This is near SHORE ROAD  and this was taken in Year Sept 2004 .

New 10 M metal post with a PHILIPS TRAFFIC MASTER  lantern and the lantern on the old post is a GEC 9554 lantern ( 135W SOX bulb , semi-cut off bowl , less gear) .


 

This is along AIRTHREY ROAD (A9) and this was taken in Year Sept 2004 .

Along this road there are 10 M metal posts and this bit of road ,there is 3 THORN ALPHA 5 lanterns and these have been converted to 135W SOX bulbs .You can see one of the bipin holders of the old SLI/H bulbs .  In the background you can see the NATIONAL WALLACE MONUMENT which is on the top of the hill .
