The lanterns are PHILIPS DECOFLOOD flood lights and they are mounted 10 M on the walls of buildings .The bulbs are MH type and these are double ended type. Alot of these lanterns are along the ROYAL MILE .

The lanterns are THORN flood lights and they are mounted 10 M on the walls of buildings .The bulbs are SON-T type .You can see EDINBURGH CASTLE all lit up .

The lanterns are post top URBIS SOLARIS lanterns and they are mounted on 10M metal posts .The bulbs are SON-T type and these are group switched.

These are 10M metal posts with GEC Z8526 lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , semi-cut off bowls , less gear , Nema sockets photocells) . This GEC Z8526 lantern is also known as a SIEMENS MRL5RA lantern . Along some other roads there are THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns on these type of posts .Along this part of the road you can see new posts with URBIS ZX3 lanterns ( 250W SON-T bulbs , low profile bowls , black colour canopy , Nema socket photocells )  .

These are  SUGG 10M cast iron posts with top entry SUGG ARC lanterns and the bulbs are SON-T with miniature 1 part photocells .These were installed in the early 90s .

There are a lot of these CANDELA BOROUGH lanterns and they are on 5M cast iron posts and on walls of buldings . This one is on a wall . The bulbs are clear MH bulbs with refractors.

These are 12M ? metal posts with RELITE A42410 (Hyperion C ) lanterns ( 180W SOX bulbs , semi-cut off bowls , less gear , Nema sockets photocells) and you can see some new 12 M metal posts with URBIS ZX3 lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , flat glass bowls , black colour canopy , Nema socket photocells )  .

These are 8M CU PHOSCO (Concrete Utilities ) concrete posts along this road . The lanterns are top entry GEC Z9454  lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ,nema socket photocells ) and top entry CU PHOSCO P157SCO lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ,nema socket photocells )  .Along some other roads there are top entry GEC Z9465 lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ,nema socket photocells ) as well.

This GEC WEMBLEY lantern is wall mounted at about 5M on a wall.I don't think this does not work. The street lights along this road are 8M CU PHOSCO (Concrete Utilities ) concrete posts along this road . The lanterns are top entry GEC Z9454  lanterns ( 90W SOX bulbs ,nema socket photocells ) .
