SRP254 (MO5 LINKS ) LANTERN

 

This is a PHILIPS SRP254 lantern and this also known as a MO5 (LINKS) lantern.This is a integral gear 180W SOX lantern.This has got a NEMA socket with a SELC 841 photocell .

This design was made up to 1973-4 , then the MA range of lanterns took over.

I seen these on the M4 (near LONDON) , M6 , M40 (near LONDON) and A40M WESTWAY ( LONDON) .These lanterns have all gone.
