HOLDENHURST , DORSET
HOLDENHURST is a village just outside BOURNEMOUTH and all of the street lights are gas lights. A lot of these gas lights have got clockwork timeswitches in them and some of them has got modern photocells and these work from 12V DC.
Clockwork timeswitches last for about 30 days before they need to wind up again and the battries for the photocells ,I think they last longer.
HOLDENHURST is next to THROOP.

In the lantern there is a new control box for the batteries and for the photocell unit. The photocell detector is in the bottom of the lantern. There is a new gas valve which works from 12VDC.
