The posts are cast iron 8M postsand these have got with 2 top entry REVO C5975 lanterns ( SON BULBS ) .

YEAR 2008 - When I visited RIPON in this year ,I noticed all the old posts has been replaced with a new modern 8M heritage posts with a top entry SUGG lanterns  ( integral gear , horizontal SON-T bulbs , road lighting reflectors , miniature 1 part photocells ) . These lanterns are copies of the old REVO C5975 lanterns. There are now 4 lanterns on each post now. SUGG has put their name on the lanterns.

The street lights are 8M metal posts with WRTL MLR 6 lanterns ( integral gear , horizontal SON-T bulbs ,flat glass bowls , Nema socket photocells ) .There was a top entry GEC 8426 lantern on a 8M metal post here in 1993 on the right side of this road and it has now gone.

YEAR 2008 - Alot of the town centre has now got these THORN CIVIC lanterns ( integral gear , horizontal SON-T bulbs ,flat glass bowls , Nema socket photocells ) . The old lanterns were REVO HORIZON lanterns .
