This is along ST JAMES PARADE and this was taken in Year Oct 2002 .

 I think this 10M post and lantern was made by REVO and in the lantern is a SON bulb . There is a lot of these lanterns in the city centre mounted on the walls.

I only seen this lantern in BATH only and I have not seen it anywhere else.

Behind this post is a 10M post with a PHILIPS SGS 203 lantern with a SON-T bulb.

This 6M cast iron post was made by REVO and the lantern is a post top REVO C136123 lantern . In the lantern is a SON bulb. There is a lot of these posts and lanterns along this road.

April 2010 update = All the REVO C136123 lanterns has now been changed with new lanterns . The new lanterns is a copy of the REVO C136123 lantern and the top of the new lantern is now bigger . My guess they done this is to fit the control gear in it .

I seen this post top REVO C136123 lantern in another town and it is in LYNTON in DEVON .

I seen this REVO post in some other towns and they are YORK , BUXTON , WEYMOUTH , CAMBRIDGE and there were some in LONDON and these have been replaced with new modern posts.

There is some of these posts and lanterns along this road and some in the city centre .

April 2010 update = All the top entry ELECO ( DAVIS ) HW720 lanterns along this road and some roads in the city centre , has got changed to top entry D.W.WINDSOR STRAND lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , integral gear , Diamond Optic reflector  , teardrop bowls , miniature 1 part photocell ) .

In the city centre there are some side entry ELECO ( DAVIS ) HW720 lanterns on metal posts .

 This is along PIERREPONT STREET ( A3039 ) and this was taken in Year Oct 2002 .

This lantern was made by WATERS LIGHTING . This lantern has got a SON-T bulb with a reflector .

On this lantern there is a name plate on the bottom of it and it says ( MADE IN ENGLAND BY WATERS LIGHTING and their telephone and fax number and a serial number of this lantern ) . On this as well is a date when this lantern was made and I think this was made in 1996 .

I seen this lantern in another town and it is in BURY ST EDMUNDS.

This is next to the BATH ABBEY ( ABBEY CHURCH YARD ) and it is near YORK STREET in the city centre and this was taken in Year Oct 2002  .

In the ABBEY CHURCH YARD all the old lanterns were replaced with new lanterns in the 90s and there is about 6 of them . In these new lanterns have got big white round bulbs in them and they give out white light . Its looks like these bulbs are PHILIPS QL bulbs.

This is along SOUTHGATE and this was taken in Year April 2010 . On the right side of this road is the new SOUTHGATE SHOPPING CENTRE .

The new street lights are 5M metal posts with post top lanterns . I think these are HESS VILLAGE  lanterns ? .

All the lanterns are this type and these are made by DW WINDSOR . These have got CosmoPolis Cosmo White bulbs ,integral gear and DIAMOND OPTIC reflector .
