This is along LOWER ROAD ( B4009 ) and this photo was taken in DEC 2006. The streetlights are 6M metal posts and 6M mounted telegraph brackets . The lanterns are URBIS SINTRA lanterns ( SON-T bulbs , green colour canopy , low profile polycarbonate bowls , SELC 841 NEMA SOCKET photocells ) .These were installed in the late 90s?. The old street lights were 5M mounted telegraph brackets with top entry THORN BETA 4 lanterns ( MBF bulbs,less gear, time switches ) . In the 80s these THORN BETA 4 lanterns have got changed to side entry THORN BETA 5 lanterns ( 50W SON bulbs ,integral gear,NEMA SOCKET photocells ). |
