The streetlights are 8M STEWARTS AND LLOYDS LTD metal posts with 2M metal extensions to raise the mounting height of the lanterns to 10M . The lanterns are side entry URBIS ZX2 lanterns ( Discharge bulb , Flat glass , integral gear , Nema socket photocell ) .

In the 80s ,these 8M STEWARTS AND LLOYDS LTD metal posts had side entry fluorescent side entry lanterns ( 5ft tubes ) .

In the 80s ,the replacement lanterns were GEC Z8526 lanterns .

Some time in the 90s? ,all the lanterns got changed with new ones . The council installed 2M metal extensions on the old 8M posts and the lanterns are side entry URBIS ZX2 lanterns ( Discharge bulb , Flat glass , integral gear , Nema socket photocell ) .

Feb 2004 - All the old street lights are now being replaced with new ones . The new posts are 10M tall with metal with side entry URBIS ZX2 lanterns ( Discharge bulb , Flat glass , integral gear , Nema socket photocell ) .
