1983

When I visted this town for the first time all the lamps posts painted were painted white with grey bases and there were some THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns on 10M metal posts .

 

 

  This is along HIGH STREET and this was taken in the Year Aug 1997.

Along this HIGH STREET has got heritage lanterns with SON bulbs.

In 1983 this had about 2 post top CU PHOSCO P111 lanterns ( white bowls , SON bulbs , integral gear , RTE P42 photocells) .

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 This is along THE LEAS and this was taken in the Year Aug 1997.

This is on the cliff top and there are a lot of these 8M posts with these top entry lanterns on them ( SON bulbs ) .
