This is along  EAST STREET ( A351 ) and this was taken in Year July 2004.

This is a 5M post with a top entry WATERS LIGHTING lantern ( modern reflector with a horizontal discharge SON-T bulb , miniature 1 part photocell   ) .

The only other place I seen this type of lantern was in PORLOCK in SOMERSET .

This is wall mounted at 5M and the bracket is a GEC ZD 10890 and this has got the the control gear in it. The lantern is a GEC ZD10598 lantern ( SON bulb ,less gear , RTE P42 2 part photocell  ) .

There is a lot of these GEC ZD10598 lanterns in CORFE CASTLE .
