Streetlights are 8M SUGG  CANNON posts with top entry SUGG ROCHESTER lanterns ( SON-E bulbs ,glass refractors , RTE P42 photocells ) . The old lights were 8M COUCRETE UTILITES ( CU PHOSCO ) AVENUE Concrete posts with THORN ALPHA 1 lanterns with 90W SOX bulbs and RTE P42 photocells and these were replaced in 1989 .

There are some replacements lanterns and these are PHILIPS SGS 203 lanterns ( SON-T bulbs ,integral gear , Nema Socket photocells ) .

The old lights were wall mounted PHOSWARE ( CU PHOSCO ) P103A lanterns ( 35W SOX bulb ,less gear ) . All these have now been replaced in 2004 .

The lanterns before the THORN ALPHA 8 lanterns were THORN ALPHA 3 lanterns .

The lanterns are THORN GAMMA 6 lanterns ( 35W SOX bulbs , integral gear , Nema socket photocells ) on 5M metal posts.

These lanterns has got large bases on them and these are for the large 35W SOX control gear in them . Later type use a smaller 35W SOX control gear and the lanterns has got smaller bases on them .

In the 90s when the council replaced all the old street lights with new ones ,the council did not took down the old wall mounted one which is on a pub wall and it is still on the wall in 2009 . Next to this the council installed a 5M MIKE SMITH DESIGNS cast iron post with a MIKE SMITH DESIGNS WINDSOR lantern .

The old street lights were 4M posts are cast iron type without any doors in them . The old lanterns were WINDSOR lanterns ( 80W MBF bulbs ) .

In 2005 all the old MIKE SMITH DESIGNS WINDSOR lanterns were replaced with METCRAFT VICTORIA lanterns .

In the 2005 when the council replaced all the old lanterns with new ones ,the council did not took down the old wall mounted one which is on a pub wall and it is still on the wall in 2009 .
