This is a THORN ALPHA 9 lantern , this is a less gear lantern and it is for a 90W SOX bulb .
This has got a 2 part SELC photocell .
This lantern was installed in the 70s ?.
I bought this lantern in 2002.
I took this photo after I cleaned it .

Along this road all the posts and lanterns were replaced with new ones in 2002 .The old posts were 8M metal posts with THORN ALPHA 9 lanterns . New posts are 8M CU PHOSCO posts with URBIS ZX 2 lanterns ( SONT BULBS , SELC 841 photocells , Deep bowls , white canopies ) .The posts were painted grey .
