THORN ALPHA 1 LANTERN

 

This is a THORN ALPHA 1 lantern . This is a less gear lantern and this has got a 55W SOX bulb in it .With this lantern you can use a 90W SOX bulb as well .  This lantern was mounted at 6M on a metal post . This has got a RTE 2 part P42 detector in it. This lantern was installed in the early 70s? .I bought this lantern in 2000. All the posts and lanterns were replaced with new ones . New posts are 6M CU PHOSCO hocky sick posts with PHILIPS SGS201 lanterns ( SONT BULBS , SELC 841 Nema socket photocells ) .
