DAVIS (ELECO) GR100 lantern

 

This is a DAVIS (ELECO) GR100 lantern .This is a less gear lantern and this has got a 90W SOX bulb in it .This has got a NEMA socket in it with a RTE P5 photocell .This photocell was made in the 70s .

This lantern was installed in the early 80s .I bought this lantern in 2002.

This is the early type of lantern and in the late 80s the canopy has got changed to plastic and in the 90s the bowl has got changed as well .

 

  Along this road  all the posts and lanterns were replaced with new ones in 2002 . New posts are 6M CU PHOSCO hocky sick posts with PHILIPS SGS201 lanterns ( SONT BULBS , SELC miniature photocells ) .The posts were painted grey .
